More about Rob Hursh, (continued from Home page).
Video production for me started in 1995 at the local cable access station with producing a live broadcast music television program called "29 Live". The program featured local, regional and touring bands, and ran for an unprecedented 200 episodes over seven years. Also during 1995, I produced "Software Masters", a live broadcast educational program about the software development process.
Next up was producing the "The Small Stage" in 2003. The program spotlighted talented musicians through studio performance, interview and field segments. "The Small Stage" received an Award of Excellence at the 2004 Best of the Northwest Video Festival.
"Stepping Out" followed in 2004. Our video crew went around Seattle for edgy, news magazine style coverage of events and happenings. Our approach invited spontaneity which brought out the best in our interviewees and resulted in entertaining and informative content.
My current projects involve shooting a series of band profile pieces as well developing educational and training content.
