Welcome to Whale Bone Productions, the home of Rob Hursh.
I have been known to wear many hats. My time is split between freelance videography, working as a stage technician at a variety of entertainment events and venues, doing audio, video, lighting, and theatrical stage scenic elements installations aboard cruise ships, and providing technical support and other services to small businesses.
I am an accomplished camera operator and particularly enjoy shooting interviews and covering events. I am passionate about the creative process, the production process in and of itself and value the chance to make an impact with the work I do. Part of my activity always seems to include helping bands and musicians get more exposure.
Video production for me started in 1995 at the local cable access station with producing a live broadcast music television program called "29 Live". The program featured local, regional and touring bands, and ran for an unprecedented 200 episodes over seven years. Also during 1995, I produced "Software Masters", a live broadcast educational program about the software development process.
